November 20th Woody's RV World Marathon and Half Marathon received the Alberta's Best Road Race in 2007 Award, Top 10 Finalist from Athletics Alberta.

The following letter was recieved:

Dear Gord,

I would like to take this time to personally congratulate you and formally announce that the Woody's RV World Marathon & Half Marathon as one of the Top 10 Road Races of 2007 in Alberta (Provincially Ranked #4), based on direct participant feedback from Alberta's road running community at large.

 The award has been tabulated from a Province-wide survey conducted by Athletics Alberta  (from March till November 2007) and allowed for all participants to evaluate each race they competed at with the opportunity to provide direct feedback on their experience.  The awards were compiled from all Road Races that are included in a Provincial Road Running Series – the Run Alberta Series. These distinguished races will be given an official Provincial Ranking based on: participant attendance, race course popularity amongst runners, results management & community initiatives.
